Collaborated on the development of fresh brand and design directives for Yo! Magazine, an online platform dedicated to showcasing and amplifying the voices of Japanese Americans. Supported mentees in crafting a vibrant color palette, typography selections, optimizing logo visibility, and creating iconography for implementation across Yo! Media and Camp websites. In Spring 2022, I undertook a hometown branding project for DESINV 198 (Graphic Design Principles), focusing on the rebranding of my beloved second home, Little Tokyo. The project encompassed extensive research, including user interviews, competitor analysis, and persona creation, culminating in a comprehensive brand identity package—featuring a detailed process document and a compelling pitch presentation.
